Been there for the first time last week. Small menu, but the food was really great. I have rarely eaten such a good schnitzel in Kassel. And the staff was very friendly :-) We will definitely be back!

Delicious schnitzel eaten. Tastes like granny. Homemade sauces of your choice instead of convenience at the other restaurants! Attention, this evaluation concerns the new operator, has only been in the restaurant for a short time!

Based on the reviews, we decided to pay a visit to the Schützenplatz restaurant. Since we had nice weather, we of course took a seat in the beer garden. Nice and (except for the people who sit next to you) quiet ... you can have a nice beer here. Speaking of beer: it's great that there is also a lager on tap! Unfortunately, we weren't that enthusiastic about the three schnitzels from the Wednesday menu. The consistency of the meat was somehow reminiscent of “press schnitzel”, the uniform color of a deep fryer. That was the only reason why the food could apparently be served so quickly. The warm cheese sauce was a little different and okay, but the “creamy mushroom sauce” looked and tasted like a hunter's sauce out of the bag. Our child didn't find the herbal cream so delicious either. The fries were okay, but you can't go wrong with that either. Ergo: We would probably have been annoyed with a schnitzel with chanterelles for just under 15 € ... we will definitely be back, but then only for a beer!

Cozy restaurant on the edge of the allotment garden with beer garden, beverage pavilion and play area for the little ones. A popular stop-off point for cyclists during the season as it is close to the R1 bike path. Recommended cakes, homemade. Prices in the normal level. Highly recommended.
